ResumeBorn Wellington 5th August 1961 Services to the arts: - President of Watercolour New Zealand since 2006 and committee member since 1994 Council member of New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts since 2003 Provided volunteer and hanging services to the NZAFA and exhibitions. Teaching: - Established and led workshops for members of WNZ including watercolour painting techniques and a workshop on how to set up an exhibition. Providing individual tutoring of watercolour painting techniques. Leading various watercolour classes for children and adults. Public speaking – Various Probus and art groups. Achievements 1992 - Finalist in the Telecom art awards. 2003 - Elected artists member by NZAFA in. 2004 – Artwork selected for the Akatarawa estate wine label. 2006 – Painting selected for the 2007 Artfind national arts calendar. 2006 – Painting selected for the 2007 Bed and Breakfast book cover. 2007 & 2008 – Paintings selected for the Save the Children art card selection. 2007 – Painting selected for the 2008 Artfind national arts calendar 2008 – Selected to feature in Denis Robinson’s book, The New Zealand In Watercolour. |
