My Antarctica Solo Exhibition scheduled for 14th September - 16th Oct 2010 at Our City O-Tautahi Gallery in Christchurch has been cancelled due to the recent Christchurch earthquake.


The exhibition was to be held at the Our City O-Tautahi gallery, a beautiful and historic Queen Anne building on the corner of Worcester Boulevard and Oxford Terrace. The building had been earthquake strengthened but damage to the foundations are suspected.

With this uncertainly it was not possible to get access to the building so a decision was made to cancel the exhibition.

Built as the Christchurch City Council's original Municipal Chambers, the building now provides space for the people and communities of Christchurch to meet to present and exchange ideas and knowledge about the city and important development, environmental and social issues, as well as celebrate its life, colour and creativity.

Visitors enjoy exhibitions and events in three galleries, while upstairs the Chamber and the Library provide venues for meetings.
